Keeping dry with Target Dry!

Bubba loves being outside. Be it a trip to the park, a walk to the woods or even just playing in the garden..Bubba is happiest when he is free to run around in the fresh air. At this time of the year I find it so hard to know what to dress him in as sometimes it's freezing, sometimes it's sunny, sometimes it's torrential rain and other times it's so windy I am worried that little man might blow away! Target Dry have provided me with the perfect solution to keep Bubba protected from the elements whilst sending a little treat for me as well :)

Target Dry is a Belfast based brand who specialist in outdoor wear. They have been designing and retailing outdoor clothing for almost 30 years and have a strong emphasis on quality, value and customer service. All of their products
also come with a 2 year warranty which shows the high quality of these items.  Having never owned any of their products before I was super excited when these came through.

Bubba was sent the Little Nipper Waterproof and breathable kids' splash suit. This suit comes with an integral hood, elastic stretch cuffs, reflective piping and fully taped seams and is 100% waterproof and windproof whilst still remaining breathable and comfortable for bubba. What more could you ask for in a splash suit?? I love the fact that it is thin enough to wear during those pesky summer showers but big enough for me to add layers to bubba clothes underneath for those colder days. When he tired the suit out it was about 6 degrees, not very windy but spiting with a little light rain. He was wearing a vest, long sleeved t-shirt, jeans and then a thick woolly jumper underneath his suit and he was toasty when we went back inside. One thing that I really loved about this suit was the fact that the zipper goes all the way down the suit which makes it so easy to get it on and off (especially with a toddler that won't stand or sit still!). In my opinion this suit really hit the mark on quality as I couldn't ask for anymore in a puddle suit! In regards to price, I do think that you get what you pay for in this world and ,to some, the price tag of £29.95 may seem a little steep but when a product is made to such a high quality and comes with so many features, I think it is well worth the money. You can purchase this suit here from the Target Dry website: http://www.targetdry.com/products/target-dry-kids-little-nipper-rainsuit-splash-suit?variant=1115122332

As I mentioned earlier, I was also sent a treat from Target Dry as it's all well and good our little treasures being dry and snug but what about us Mummy's who are out in the park watching our little darlings? Well, Target Dry have a solution for this too. Well actually, they have a lot of different solutions as they have an extensive women and men's range but I was lucky enough to be able to sample one of the items.

I was very kindly sent a Layla Waterproof and breathable ladies jacket which comes with a concealed, volume adjustable hood, internal pocket, Velcro adjustable cuffs and a 2 way contrast front zip. I love this jacket as it is so comfy and practical whilst still looking 'nice' and not too frumpy like a lot of these types of waterproof jackets are. As with the kid's splash suit the price tag of £54.95 may seem a lot but I do really think that you get what you pay for with things like this and I know that this jacket will be something that will last me for years to come. Not only does the quality of it means that it will last but the style is one that will never really go out of fashion. You can find the Layla jacket and the full range of women's wear here: http://www.targetdry.com/products/layla-womens-nautical-rain-jacket-target-dry?variant=1092818456
