SpyX Micro Gear Set | Review & Giveaway

Note: this kit was sent to us for the purpose of  this review but all opinions are honest and my own.

When I was younger I went through a phase of being obsessed with Harriet the Spy. It was a film that came out when I was about 10 all about a girl who had a special note book and she used to spy on all of the people around her. I always wanted to be like Harriet and had my own little note book and used to try and snoop on my family when ever I could. Fast forward 20 years and spy's are still something that kids love and Pickle is no exception expect things are a lot more high tech now. Gone are the days of note books and paper cups attached to strings as a secret telephone! A spy kit now days is a lot more exciting and full of gadgets!

The SpyX Mirco Gear set is the ultimate spy kit and I'm not going to lie, I am pretty jealous that it wasn't around when I was little. In this amazing kit you get:

  • A micro spy light
  • Motion alarm
  • Utility belt
  • Invisible ink pen with secret storage
  • A micro listener
Each item comes with a little clip that allows you to put it onto the utility belt meaning that your little spy can have all their spy tools with them at once.

The first thing Pickle grabbed was the invisible pen and he was super impressed! At first he through it was magic that he could write things and then not be able to see them with the special light until we explained that it was in fact a UV light. He now loves that he can draw secret pictures and wrote secret messages and then not show anyone but those who he lets have the special light. The other part of this kit that he really loved was the Micro Spy Light. Pickle pops this little light on his ear using the ear clip which leaves him hands free to do more secret writing! He even uses the light as a pretend phone so he looks like he's speaking on a little Bluetooth head set. I'm not going to lie...it is super cute!

The other items in the kit are great and over all it is a great toy! And whats even better is that it is just £19.99 which I think is an absolute bargain. This would make a great gift for Christmas or a as a special treat for the little spy in your life.

I am super excited to be giving away 1 SpyX Micro Gear Set to a lucky reader of mine! To enter all you need to do is click on the box below and follow the instructions. Good luck!
