Half Term Baking with Nadyia's Deluxe Baking Set | Ad - Review

AD - This item was sent to us for the purpose of this review but all opinions are honest and my own.

My kids LOVE to get in the kitchen. When Pickle was younger we used to go to some amazing cooking classes together and I really wanted to take Smidge when he was old enough but COVID has put a halt to that. So for now I just have to make do with finding recipes and getting creative in our own kitchen.

Baking is my personal favourite thing to do with the boys so when the opportunity came up for us to try out some new baking goodies I jumped at the chance!

Nadyia Hussain from Bake Off has recently created and released some cooking and baking sets for kids and I was so impressed by them! We were very kindly sent her Deluxe Baking Set which I will talk about more in a second but she also has a simple baking set and a savoury cooking set that I am very eager to try, both of which are available from Smyths Toys Superstore.

The Deluxe Baking Set comes with everything that you need to get your bake on this half term and everything included has been made with both children and parents in mind. This set RRP is £24.99 and comes with the following:

  • Rolling pin
  • 2.5L Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Sieve
  • Reusable silicone cupcake cases
  • 3 metal cookie cutters
  • Apron
  • 6 of Nadyia's kid friendly recipes.
The first thing the I loved about everything in this kit is the durability of it and how easy it all was to clean. Everything is dishwasher safe (massive bonus!) and designed for little hands making it the perfect size for Pickle. All if the cookie cutters have a silicon safety edge around them and the bowl has a super hand lip around it making it easy for pouring and holding. The next thing I loved as the recipes. They are simple and didn't require any fancy ingredients which was great. The other thing I love about this set is just how pretty it looks! I love the colours and the fact that everything is quite plain and simple. I think that's more effective than having lost of pattern. In my opinion, this set is great value for money! For £25 you get all the equipment to bake a range of things and they are all great quality that will last.
